About Me

By day, I am the managing editor for a business-to-business (B2B) trade magazine at a global publishing and media company. I have been a B2B magazine editor and content writer in one industry or another for about 15 years, and have worked in my current industry for seven years. I speak at related tradeshows and conventions on industry trends, and help manage the annual global industry tradeshows my company puts on. I also occasionally freelance as a web content creator and editor for an independently-owned web design company, a position I’ve held for 10 years.

I enjoy reading and writing (no surprise there), I’m a dedicated runner (most days), and am a lifelong avid collector of old books (my first edition of “A Little Princess” is one of my favorite acquisitions). I have permanent wanderlust, and will take just about any opportunity to travel–especially if it’s somewhere new.

When I’m not writing, editing, or traveling, I’m enjoying the sun at my Houston-area home with my fiance, our young son, a dog, and two cats.
